Location: Hackney, East London
Salary: £25.00 - £28.00 per hour (dependent on experience)
We’re looking for a skilled sports massage therapist to join our East London team. This role is ideal for a practitioner trained in sports massage therapy (minimum Level 4) who also brings depth in deep tissue or holistic massage work. You should be confident in active and passive soft tissue techniques, muscle energy techniques, and have a real understanding of the body in motion and recovery.
You will need to commit to 10 –15 hours per week, including two weekends per month and occasional bank holidays.

You must meet all of the following:
Level 4 or Level 5 qualification in soft tissue and remedial massage
CPD in advanced deep tissue massage or another clinical technique
A minimum of 2 years experience delivering massage therapy
Able to commit to at least 15 hours per week, including two weekends per month
Live within 1 hour of our Hackney studio (by public transport)
A member of a respected regulatory body such as ISRM or SMA.
You must be fully insured to practice at Bodied
Confident communicating with a diverse client base and adapting treatment on the day.

As a Bodied massage therapist, you will:
Deliver high-quality sports massage, deep tissue, and therapeutic massage treatments
Adapt each treatment to the client’s structure, needs and goals
Offer professional aftercare and treatment planning advice
Maintain the cleanliness and atmosphere of the studio at all times
Provide in-person client support, including answering service-related questions
Open and close the studio securely
Pack and unpack laundry and linen deliveries
Communicate clearly and regularly with the team
Participate in studio training, team development, and local events
Collaborate with the team to capture visual content for social media (as needed)

Pregnancy massage training is essential for this role, and additional experience in lymphatic work is highly desirable.
You will need to commit to 15 hours per week, including two weekends per month, and be insured, qualified, and actively registered with a relevant professional body.

As a Bodied massage therapist, you will:
Deliver high-quality deep tissue, holistic, and therapeutic massage treatments
Provide pregnancy massage when needed (for second and third trimester clients only)
Maintain a safe, clean and welcoming studio environment
Engage with clients professionally — answering service or product questions in person or over the phone
Prepare and organise laundry using our external service provider
Open and close the studio securely following operational protocols
Contribute to visual content creation for social media (as required)
Participate in community events that expand access to bodywork, especially within underserved groups
Attend team training and development sessions
